Anyone been here? I keep walking past it when I'm out and about but haven't had the time to stop off.

Do they just have a smoking area or something? And can you take your own sticks?

I don't think you can take your own stick and to be honest I think there are better places to smoke in London, when I went it was a Friday night and people from the bar kept coming through to sample one, which is fine but not what I would particularly look for if going to enjoy a cigar after work

Yeah I was worried there'd be a lot of that.

Any other recommendations in central London? I'm more looking for somewhere covered/indoors for when it starts getting colder etc. I know there are areas in Sautter and JJ Fox, but more looking for somewhere I can enjoy a drink too.

Number 10 Manchester Street has a nice smoking area but I don't think you can bring your own cigars and I find it to be fairly pricey.

Voltaire is a nice place in the Crowne Plaza at Blackfriars is a nice place and you can bring your own.

Cheers! Sounds like a good shout. I work pretty close to Blackfriars too so would be able to pop in of an evening

Yes, it's a handy location and your are basically smoking in your own little cavern under the footpath (you'll see what I mean when you get there) and have heaters and music etc as well as drinks service

I think you can bring your own but there is a minimum spend at the bar

Ah right, my mistake. Maybe it's worth going back to as I tended to favour Voltaire lately due to the price but No. 10 has a nicer ambiance

Correct with No10 but not to worry - very easy to spend ?25 on drinks there! And if oyu bought a cigar & a drink it would be about that anyway. Taking your own is always best IMHO, at least you know you're getting a decently aged stick & not something that was still on a Cuban warehouse shelf six months ago.

Does anyone know what the minimum spend is at the Belgravia, as I'd like to visit Mike Choi there?

there is the whisky club on old Compton street but you have to be a member great whisky and a covered smoking area
one of our own on here holds a monthly cigar tasting there but I think member ship is now closed as the smoking area really only holds about 25-30

but membership to whisky club is ?250.00 per year but a lot of tastings are held so quite good value

Do you need to be recommended for membership? Or can simply apply?

Check out the cigar terrace at the Churchill Hotel, Portman Sq. well enclosed and you can bring your own subject to a ?25 min spend. As it is, their humidor is fairly well stocked and looked after. Open to ~1/2am unlike No. 10 who took to kicking us out of the terrace at 10pm.
