This is a Monte 4 that Tommy has just bought in Australia with its compulsory band, this is what we might have had had the attempt to make us have plain packaging succeeded.
But seriously, WTF! It still says what it is and where it's from. Seems a bit of a futile and no doubt costly exercise which probably contributes to the retail/consumer price
If I remember correctly, the gov. actually did a few tests of which colours were the least attractive to man. They came up with this hideous brown that they believed to be too hideous so they added a small amount of green to it to make it a bit more bearable.
That was the inception of the colour of plain packaging.

I had heard they had done that as well
I know cigars have been exempted from plain packaging in the UK, but I still despise the idea of introducing it for cigarettes (even though I don't smoke them)
