Whilst they will have Cuban tobacco in them, it will very likely be substandard and as a worst case scenario, scraps inside. I would not think you will sell them here, unless someone wants to try a fake as a comparison, or perhaps dissect one experimentally. You wouldn't get much for them. I wouldn't hazard a guess on price.

Some fakes are smokable so go ahead & keep trying them. If they aren't then you won't be so disappointed as if'd you'd had genuine Esplen's before then you would know the difference & be gutted! Anyway, it's a lesson for your next trip, official outlets only.Simon Bolivar: Liberator of Bolivia, Ecuador, Peru & Venezuela.

I would love someone to smoke one who knows how they should be to clarify for me, it tasted reasonably yesterday and smoked all the way without breaking up. The cigars to me look as they should using websites, it's just the box is definitely out of whack like you have mentioned, the stickers are not perfect, and the bar code on the government stamp i checked on the Habanos verificiation tool, it says they are for an entirely different brand of cigars, Romeo y julieta churchills.
But like I say the cigars themselves appear to be genuine, it was a friend in the research group I was working in for a month that got them for me, so yes not an official shop but he spoke as if the box was taken from the factory and that the cigars were genuine. Would explain why the box is so makeshift.

Enjoy them if they're nice, but they're not real unfortunately.

The cigars look good. In the pictures, not a whole lot about them gives them away as definite fakes. Until your last picture.
There should be a date code but that can wear off, rarely but it might.
However the "ECA" factory code is the issue.
ECA was the code used for the H Upmann cigar factory until 2002 and hasn't been used in at least 12 years. Few things about packaging discrepancies in cuban cigars are so "hard and fast" but that's one of them.
Your cigars are cigars but they are not Habanos cigars, they're counterfeit.
