I disagree, he should try one and decide for himself. I really enjoyed them.

I am looking for Cubans... but potentially any good deals on NC... although native french cigars dont feel too tempting! You never know, I might give wheezing and spluttering a go!

What sounds so bad about cigars grown and made in France? I don't understand the negative bias, especially when most NC's from other parts of the world are made to unknown specifications from tobacco that's been treated with who knows what from a whole bunch of countries.

I understand the act of trying something and then thinking it's not something you would revisit. Or not trying something if there is a logical basis to not do.... Like you hate the idea of dyed wrappers.

But the French cigars are Puro's made in a country internationally renown for quality and who's been making luxury goods as long as anyone.

And why would they make you wheez and splutter any more than any other cigar?

Say what you want about the French, but they know a thing or two about flavour.

Personally if I was visiting a country I would make a point of tasting the local cigars. Even if I had been told by everyone they are the worlds worst. I am into cigars and I am in that country and have the chance to try some bought there by me, preferably after doing the factory tour. Know what I mean guys?

Agreed Wigan, but perhaps we should tell Emaresse to not bother with Elie Bleu Humidors or St DuPont Lighters either?

                      After all..... They are French.
