Has anyone flown into, or visited Limoges and found any cigar stockists? I have found mention of
a small number of Tobacconists but no further information.

No cigar shop that I'm aware of, like most of France "Tobac's" will be fairly numerous, though they won't be cigar specialists.

Do they ever stock anything of note, or is it just the basic everyday cigar?

From memory: CAO, Carlos Torrano, Macanudo, VegaFina.... A brand of french Puro's and a premium priced brand called *Harrera* are the ones I kept seeing.


Edit: forget Harrera, I just checked and it was Horacio (Don Horacio del Monte to be precise)

quick tip, the French brand is La Navarre. Their "budget" range is the Navarrillo which comes in boxes of 10.... IMO it's a peach! Lovely natural sweetness, creamy and fresh... On the milder side but very very approachable as am any time of the day cigar.

I lit one up as I was writing this..... If I could go back this instant, I would buy 50 of them.
