Travelling to Amsterdam the start of Feb with the other half for a long weekend.

Sip - there is a truly wondrous La Casa in Amsterdam. Look out for the grand piano filled with cigars and the incredible ceiling-high wall of cigar boxes, complete with up-lighting and old-fashioned 'ladder on a rail'!

from an eariler post of mine:
amsterdam is a fantastic spot for cigars. go to pgc hajenius on rokin (just up from dam sq) excellent selection and a tasting room. Then head to hotel d'europe, freddys bar (across from the flower market) - they have a decent selection in their humi. across the road from freddys is van der covens, good regional selection at times - another cigar shop with a decent selection is hartmans on leidseplein and theres an lcdh store in the conservatorium hotel - the great thing is all these spots are within 15 minutes of each other.

Hi all. Firstly, sorry for the prolonged absence from the boards. Secondly, I'm currently in Amsterdam so thanks for the tips above! Lastly, the hotel I'm staying in (The Toren) has an indoor smoking room next to the bar (pictures attached). It's small but very comfortable and the staff are happy to bring drinks to the table (including alcoholic drinks). I've just polished off a satisfying Monte 2 with a rather nice Old Fashioned.
