Other than the cigars, the cars are one of the reasons I'd love to visit.

It's amazing how these cars can be kept going, entirely because there isn't really any other option (the changes in recent years really don't really count for much, since they only really effect the privileged few.)

Great thread , started on my birthday , when I was in Cuba .

someone told me alot of them have Russian engines like skoda in them as they cant get parts for the american engines no idea how true this is

One I went in had a Nissan engine the guy said .

I remember being told they used Toyota and Peugeot engines as well, basically whatever they can lay their hands on.
