Not been myself (other than the airport) but I believe there are a couple of LCDH in Dubai itself. If you do a forum search it should turn up the thread with the details.

I *might* be over there in two weeks too. The Bolivar Emiratos are worth a buy at the airport.

Don't forget to buy a camel. Last time I was there they let you buy them on the way in too, cigars that is not camels, actually they did let you buy camels too.

'Might be' as we hadn't booked holiday yet - have now, there for two weeks from this Friday. Hoping to rent a car to go to Abu Dhabi too....I hear the LCDH there is awesome...

Anyone know about prices in the non-airport LCDH? I hear Abu Dhabi prices are good but maybe not Dubai's other LCDH, e.g. Emirates Tower and Jumeirah Beach Resort.
