The price is government controlled so you dont need to look for where is cheapest only that they have what you want and the stock is in good condition

the 2 prices are cause there is a price for tobacconist and one for hotel/bars(secondary sellers)

I have just got back from a place called Gaudamar. Just outside of Alicante. There is a good tabacos shop there, has a decent selection of big name sticks and locals.

That's lucky mate, great haul- sounds like it was a well stocked shop! I don't know if you plan on going there again but I noticed a tabac shop on the lower ground floor by the car park outside the airport. It was closed at the times I landed and departed though so not sure what the stock is like.

It's on Carrer Alemania just past the nespresso shop turn left great selection, very relaxed gave me a tray and let me browse in the air conditioned humidor without looking over my shoulder lovely . Would visit Alicante again really enjoyed it.
