  • Malaga Airport

Assuming it's a given they have a humidor, but does anyone know what the selection is like and how the prices are?

Dont suppose there's any means of getting a stock list a la Dubai is there?

Duty free within Europe is nearly all poor these days.

Is that a reflection of supply and demand though? Most serious cigar smokers will locate their buys before they get to the airport so therefore very little demand.

Probably use the cash to stock up on some nicer and wider varieties of liquor.
I'm thinking of flying out of Paris just to see their cognac duty free again.

I think the drop is primerelery that there is no real duty free when travelling inside Europe any more.

You're spot on, I usually buy alcohol in the supermarkets where its cheaper.

If you are travelling within the EU, you'll pay 15% more in the airport than in an Estanco (tobacconist). Secondary channel sellers in Spain (airports, restuarants, hotels etc) can charge 15% more for cigars than estancos and they all do.
I haven't been in Malaga airport for a while but very little there the last time I was there. A few 3-5 packs of Monte and Cohiba, then a few boxes of Quintero, Monte Clubs, Romeo Tubos no.2 (in 10) etc. 1 cabinet humidor. Booze selection isn't bad. Often more than surpermaket prices but at least you'll be able to carry it on the plane.

About as I remember it from last year Ryan.

At airports they ask you if you want to use your credit/debit card and pay in UK Pounds .... Don't .... always pay in the currency of the Country you're in, it's cheaper.
If you want to, you can.
And, if you can, you must!

+2 for this. Get yourself a credit card that doesn't charge for foreign currency transactions as well.
