Worst Holiday destinations for cigars.

Over the years I've seen a few BOTL tales recounting the horror of holidaying in various resorts and being unable find anything even resembling a halfway decent smoke. But this can be offset by taking a goodly selection with us .... or so I though.


My missus, God bless her, has been eying up the Cape Verde Islands. Now, they do look very pretty, but from what I can gather there isn't a cigars tobacconist to speak of, and worse there's a restriction on the amount of cigars/tobacco you're allowed to take onto the Island with you.


Has anyone been there, or know of other places that are 'cigar desert' destinations?

But seriously : I guess any microstate or any atolls/archipelagos/ nations built on atolls/ archipelagos won't have tobacconists. I mean, imagine PCC dealing with those areas

I was in Cape Verde last November, just take your own I didn't see a thing out there but Malboro Reds.
Amazing holiday though
