Oh and isn't there a well known and well thought of shop in Geneva? I'm sure I remember reading something.

wow what a bargain, seriously considering this. Trouble is Ryan air can be a bit hit and miss.

I disagree, Ryanair is always miss

I hate flying with them, it seems they just go out of their way to make your trip as unpleasant as possible but unfortunately the price often makes it difficult to avoid using them (and the fact they're the only airline that flies to my wife's home city in Lithuania )

Cheapest place in Geneva. I think they've changed residence since I was there a few years ago, but they have website (Gestocigars SA).

I live in Geneva all the cigar places out here have facebook twitter pages where they do tastings and advertise there specials. Sometimes at the airport you can pick stuff up they have going fairly cheap as I dont think they really have a clue.

The best shops imo here are Havanne Rhein, Davidoff one and Gesto the rest were pretty rude to me when I went in to ask questions as I am pretty new to it all.

Theres no excuse for being rude, the good ones deserve the custom more!

I can't understand people in business of any sort being rude but in sales your only chance to sell is if the customer likes you, unless you have a monopoly. I have a small landscaping company and covert about 70% of enquiries into Sales because I take the time to make my potential clients feel special. To my mind any businessman who doesn't do the same is damaging their brand/rep and deserves to flounder. Strange behaviour. There are some examples of companies that deliberately turn custom away to protect their brand, Hollister for example have very dim lighting and loud music to keep the geriatrics out however that wouldn't apply to rude cigar pedlars. I'd rather pay a few more of my hard earned English pounds elsewhere than bolster the fluffy down of this chaps pillow of life.
