Better than that if you contact them they will give you a up to date stock list( which has a lot more cigars on it), is a bit of a shame to go for normal production when they have a good stock of aged and discontinued HTF cigars at no real price inflation. Always worth talking to them closer to the time.

Ye if it was me going i'd ask around but with it being in laws i just tell them in advance so i know they will deffo have them

No I mean to actually contact the duty free shop if you asked nicely I am sure they would even put the boxes aside for you so there is no hassle for your in-laws at all.

i've done that many a times in various small aeroports (varedaro always the best one) and it works there.

but the issue is with large international aeroports like zurich or toronto where they have 8 and 12 duty frees (respectively). they then close off the areas to contain people to their terminals so around 75% of the duty frees are inaccessible. lost meself a good box of Truinfos RE Suiza that way
not sure how dubai might work.. but knowing them, they might follow the same protocols.

A good friend of mine passed through recently and Dubai duty free are great, very prompt on email response and will give you a list of stock.. Worked for me..
