  • Weekend getaway.

So, thought I would throw this out for the seasoned travellers.. Looking to get away for 2-3 nights in the next month or so and just can't decide where to go..

Over Spain, France or Switzerland and thought I see what people's thoughts were. So far thinking (this is a random list)

    - Stockholm
    - Helsinki
    - Marrakech
    - Rome

Just basically want a relaxing weekend, bit of mooching / sight seeing, good food/wine with a few cigars..

    Any thoughts?

Barcelona!!!! Seriously it's amazing!!!! Other than that Naples is very very good. Prague is good if your going away with a couple mates.

Marrakech is the only one that will probably not be freezing in November (Rome may be ok).

Thought the same. 6 hour flight for 2 days break is a bit meh!

How about San Sebasti?n in Spain? City with the most Michelin stars per square foot if you're after good food and fine wine can't recommend a better place. And it's beautiful on the basque coast

Marrakech is utterly amazing though. Smokes aren't too cheap but there is a small Casa in one of the hotels. I'd consider Barca if u want decent smoking!

Also, Prague may be a good one. I've booked a weekend for me and the missus for a very reasonable price. Booked 5* Kings Court + flights for a little under ?500 for 3 nights two people. Boscolo is another great place to stay for cigar lovers as they have a spa and a cigar lounge so can send the missus for a treatment and you can go off for your own 'treatment'.

How about Seville? Food is amazing and you could also pop over to Gib for some cigars!! Having said that the programme put me off but if you can get some sticks then it's ok.

A Late thought of Bruges, it's quite a short trip too.

Ditto Bruges easy to get to . Though Marrakech is something else a Riad in the Medina is to be experienced and I believe only 4 hours flight.
