Hey folks. I just got back from Berlin yesterday after a 4 day break with fellow forum member Giga2112 and our wives.
I went there not expecting to find much after having emailed the main shops asking for German REs only to be told that apart from the Punch Sir John, that they're sold out completely but not so...I was happy to find quite a few of them!
My search criterion for this holiday was:
A) Find German REs (of course)
b) Buy singles of brands that I've either never tried before
C) Buy singles of brands that I have tried but wrote off as being not to my liking. (The reason behind this third option is a new-found love of SLR Serie A which I'd tried before and thought was quite mediocre..)

What a fantastic shop. Massive humidor with great stock and a smoking lounge and very friendly staff. I bought loads of singles here plus the guy let me have the Noellas jar when I bought the seven sticks it contained
During the visit I'd asked about the RA Belicosos but he said he was sold out. As I was about to leave having put in a big order, he phoned one of the other Herzog shops for authorisation to let me in to the private humi where lo and behold he had a few boxes of the RA Belis after all...happy chappy

This shop is more like a deli that happens to have cigars and could be easily missed from the street. It has a large well-stocked humi in the back where I found the Sancho Panza Escuderos!!

Great, great place with a MASSIVE humidor, great indoor smoking area and an outside deck looking over the harbour. The humi was packed full of mouth-watering treats that were unfortunately in storage for customers...I kept spotting rarities only to be told they were already spoken for
Still, a great experience as I sat in the private area and had a Punch 2013 LE

It doesn't get much swankier than this! What a grand place to unwind with the new H Upmann Connoisseur A (check the correct spelling!) which had only landed in Deutschland the previous day so me and Giga were among the first to experience this beauty. I also picked up a box of the newly arrived LCdH exclusive Bolivar Libertador
All in all, a completely unexpected bonus finding the REs as my expectations were quite low of finding anything unusual.
