    Gents

Looking for some advise on the above airport duty free humidors.

Is it worth searching the duty free for some fine cigars at a decent price or are they just as bad as most airports...

    Cheers

Not a lot, the prices are pretty steep in China duty free..Hong Kong is a far better option price wise..if, & big if, they've started to regulate the humidors!

          Hmmm that's why I thought.

Just the mother in law flys out next week and offered to bring back cigars, sounds like I am better off just leaving it and getting her to stick to the Rum

Get her to get some tins of pipe tobacco. If sealed will keep forever.

Doh. I just figured if the conditions of storage are hit and miss itd be a fool proofe alternative.

When I passed through Hong Kong in November the selection was very small and very expensive, just your run of the mill Cohiba and Monte's with a few NC's too.

The La Casa in the Sheraton Hotel was small but had quite a variety of the Asia Pacific Regionals, think London prices for them.

Pudong..but I'd rather be there to pick them myself..the usual airport poor storage..
You'd only, I think, pass through Hongqaio if your flying internal in China or in/out from/to HK, I don't think they do any UK direct flights now but I may be wrong..

went through Hong Kong airport in September, only found a small selection of cigars, wondered if I had missed a a duty free shop somewhere, where they had a better selection
think lucky and you'll be lucky

I too was recently traveled through Hong Kong. I found a small selection in the far corner of the duty free shop. They had RYJ, cohiab, monti, and I think HDM. I couldn't tell you if they were cheap or not as I don't have the experience. Some other things to pick up below.
                              Snake booze.
