I know it's usually poor form to resuscitate a zombie thread but it is exactly the same topic.

I'll be passing through Schipol on my way to a non-EU destination, so will be able to pick from the full duty free range. Could anyone tell me how the selection and prices are bearing in mind I can take advantage of this?

I think you will get about 20% off Dutch prices which will probably be 30ish% off uk. There are singles and boxes available and some dutch regionals. Definitely worth a look if you are leaving the EU.

Have been meaning to update

Two walk in humidors with more or less the same offer in each. Major brands were reasonably well represented, Cohiba, Montecristo, Partagas. Reasonable selection of singles. Bit disappointed there wasn't a wider selection of brands, no Bolivar for example. Duty free prices (travelling outside EU) were good, around half that of UK prices.

Picked up the last box of Hoyo Short Hoyo Pyramides LE 2011, Partagas Mille Fleurs, a couple of Punch regional edition singles, 3 Serie D No.4 Tubos and a couple of Serie E No.2

OK guys, I read it's bad form to resurrect an old thread, can someone please advise if that's true, however it is a literally the same lines as the previous and didn't want to start a new thread.

Does anyone know of the state of cigars in Schipol recently? prices and selection? My old man is going to Amsterdam for a meeting then coming back tomorrow so won't have any time to visit anywhere other than the airport.
