  • Veggggas baby!

So in June next year my brother is having his stag-do in Vegas...

Somehow I need to raise 2k to get there (but can worry about that later!)

I want to buy a box of 10 cigars to share out among the group... question is, which is the best yet affordable NC's I can get? (EMBARGO)

Remember I am but a poor student so no 1923 LE Gigantes specialiallialones!

AF Hemmingways are a popular choice.

haha good idea but I only own Cuban boxes... as for the Hemingway, for some reason cgars don't sell them. I guess it might be cheaper to buy the nc when out there

Not condoning but a friend took a few over to LV and ended up selling them to a guy selling NCs in a store for silly money!

Also nothing better than smoking a CC at a table with a nice whiskey..

you can smoke in the casinos and in the cigar shops, most hotels sell cigars as do the malls

Vegas is a great place to smoke and one of my two favorite cities in the U.S. and I don't gamble. One thing though, Vegas is one of the most expensive places in the states to buy cigars (although I think they'll look cheap to you).

What I would do if I were you, since you want a box is to order from an internet supplier (pm me and I'll give you my favorite) and have it delivered to the hotel and it will be there when you are and very inexpensive compared to Vegas prices. I know you can buy a box of 24 for less than you'll pay for 10 in Vegas.

By the way, you can't go wrong with these NC cigars, Diamond Crown or La Gloria Cubana.

This is certainly true for the vendors located inside the casinos, but you should be able to find decent prices elsewhere. Use google to find out where.

Also, you might want to check out Don Pablo Cigar Company and pick up a freshly hand-rolled stick
                        .

Cheers guys, will probably order a box like you said and get it sent to the hotel!

Never had a freshly rolled cigar, always assumed they needed some age? would be interested to see them make them though.

Not at all muchacho! Nothing like a freshly-rolled cigar, as long as you smoke it within 3-4 weeks of rolling. After that, they begin to "re-ferment," known as the "sick period" and will need up to a year before they can be enjoyed!
