Dubai - Where to buy other than the airport

I'm off to Dubai at the end of the week. I've heard the duty free in the airport is supposed to be fantasitic.

Apart from the airport is there anywhere else worth visiting where I can unearth some forgotton gems?

Yeah it can be. There's a good hotel which has a great cigar bar and humidor - google for it. Don't know of any other shops as such, though,

I would avoid buying at any hotel - the prices just get silly when compared with the airport which is the greatest place in the world (behind Cuba and Gibraltar) to buy cigars.

Ah yeah I should have been more specific; the hotel bar is great for a smoke, not for boxes!

If you go down to Abu Dahbi there is a treasure trove of a LCDH in 'The Mall of Abu Dahbi' that is chocka with aged stock.
