  • Alacante Airport

Hey guys, I am flying into Alacante this summer for a holiday with my better half and her parents and sister. Out of the 5 of us 2 of us are smokers (her dad) so I was wondering whether or not the prices are good enough to make use of all the spare duty free allowance. Any rough prices will be great, thank you in advance

Hi james. I can tell you the cigar prices werent too bad outside of duty free. I paid 35 euros for 3 Edmundos and 22 euros for a siglo VI so i guess you coukd easily take off the vat 8% and expect to pay somewhere around that?

Alicante, Spain? If so, it's EU so don't worry about allowances - do a search for Spanish prices as they are government controlled and I posted a link recently...

Hi james yes i meant outside the airport. These are prices i got at gimeno in barcelona but as said above the prices are gov controlled so should be the same in alicante.

Been having a look on the ol' tinterweb and found a piece saying from 2007 they must all be the same blah blah blah, the price for a siglo II was €8.95. Is that still the same or have they changed?

Thanks again. What are the 2 different prices though? I guess I'll just buy whatever I fancy when I'm there. My excuse will be 'its cheaper' and I can use your luggage space darling hahahahaha

The two prices are for shops like tobacconist and the second resellers like hotels and the such
