Amsterdam duty free

Hi folks,
In 3 weeks I'm going to Amsterdam for the weekend for a stag do. Hoping to pick something up.....from duty-free, not the local ladies.

Anyone have experience of Amsterdam airport duty free. Well stocked for habanos?

Went through there a few months back and they had a good selection, also had some nice RE from Bolivar and Punch.

Yeah they are pretty good but honestly if your not totally off your tits at the airport or better yet hitch hiking back to England you didnt have a good enough time.

ALSO steer clear of the blue windows girls in there just aint right.

Shame I didn't take up cigar smoking when I went to Amsterdam. The fog has slowly cleared from my hazy memory so I can say if you catch the no. 5 tram into Dam you'll be more or less in the heart of Amsterdam town. There are quite a lot of tobacconists selling pot paraphernalia so I am guessing they might have some tubos lying about. If not, you might have better luck as you said, at the airports duty free! Someone on this forum with greater expertise will hopefully come along and say 'well actually there is a humidor in such-n-such tobacconists'. Time will tell!

Yeah buying cigars from the airport on the way home depends completely on my mental ability to make decisions, and whether my hand-eye co-ordination will be sufficient to get my wallet out of my pocket.

I don't think I'll be smoking Cuban tobacco while there but will be nice to see what's on offer at the airport shop. Thanks for the tips guys.
