Blimey, that is a great price on JJF. Showing out of stock on boxes though. Simon, I cant imagine ever getting them cheaper than ?11 per stick.

I'm off to Fox's this afternoon, to pick up a few sticks for stock (kinda catchy, 'sticks for stock', dontcha think?)...

Exactly what I thought monkey. As you say though, they're out of stock (so not sure how long it would take to get them). Have confirmed with Mitch that CGars will price match though, so will probably buy from them this weekend to get them in a little quicker.

Be aware that Fox's on-line price is not the same as in-store!

Indeed. I've not got the receipt with me at the moment, but I think I paid ?13.50 for a Short Robusto in store - there is often quite a difference.

Point taken, guys. Actually, I've no beef with a higher in-store price - Fox's is a classy joint, with very helpful staff - plus you can smoke a stick on-site...

Anyways, they a had a few LFdC SR singles still, but no cabs...

Agree with you there - happy to pay a little extra to have the opportunity ot smoke in store (subsidises the free coffee and use of glasses if you've picked up a bottle at BBR before stopping at JJF).

                    Box split info...

Okay then - looked like we were going to miss the good price as my cigar buying account (yes, I do have a specific account for cigar purchases...) was showing quite a discrepancy between actual and available balances. Thankfully, the very good people at JJ Fox have been very helpful (which is more than can be said of their counterparts at Nationwide...). So, I'll be making the purchase on Friday, and it's looking like the cigars will probably be back in stock in about two weeks (from today - so a little over a week from when I order); H&F are, apparantly, being quite coy about the exact timescales... (It probably increases the hype if stocks are drying up... )

So, just to confirm, we have sbthang in for five, and Pete and monkey for six a piece... Leaving me with eight (just shy of the ten I was gunning for ) If you guys could drop me a PM to confirm and sort out the particulars.

                      Good review, thanks.
Ive just got some La Flor de Cano Petit Coronas as an everyday smoke and there pretty good for the money, so I will be interested to try the robusto at some point.

Picked up two last month and they were probably ont of the best cigars that I've had for a good few years, so sweet and full of grapeskin flavours for me. I went down the next day and bought the rest of the box
