So then, not that long ago the wait was finally over... The eagerly anticipated LFdC Short Robustos had finally arrived in the UK. Ajay seems to have cleared up the actual reason for the delay in his video review of this cigar (click, part 1).
These cigars are pretty short and squat, but there's something that looks strangely sexy about their proportions.
In three words: beurre blanc sauce... (If I'm allowed one more: scallops). Now, those are not bad things for the flavours to be reminiscent of.
The flavours were excellent, though I thought just a touch on the subdued side, and there was just a touch less development than I would have liked. The burn was very good, requiring little attention save for a carelessly needed re-light. The ash was excellent and the draw spot on for the most part.
