You know I was surprised by how hard this stick is. Brick in name brick in touch. 50 x 5rg. I will say that the plastic slip it came in was very very tight and I could barely get it off thus I think compressing the cigar, otherwise prelight smells of leather, chocolate, instant coffee and gym bag.
Clipped the cap with an xikar cigar 8 cutter and the cap shattered in my hand and dregs sprayed everywhere - oh oh. But the cut end was clean and solid and firm. First impressions the draw was a little tight but the smoke; the smoke was thick, creamy dark roasted nutmeg and gentle spices never overpowering. If this was a blind test one may think its a Cohiba VI and the Brick House is a $5 smoke in US. The burn was dead straight all the way down. Everytime I thought is this getting too much, is this a good smoke? The Brick House kept right on delivering a ton of creamy light flavour packed smoke all the way to the nub. The last third intensified slightly but still a very pleasant smoke. A solid 89/100. Box worthy yes.
