Short Winter Smoke ? Review Gone Wrong

Smoke time: 27mins.

On Saturday, I set myself to re-reviewing and adding pictures for what is one of my favourite smokes the ERDM Demi Tasse, the idea being to add it into the SWS reviews. Unfortunately, I misjudged the time I had available and found myself pressured into smoking it quicker than I would have chosen. Previously the smoke had taken 35mins.

Construction and Appearance: Exactly as previous.

Flavour: Basically as previous but masked and choked by rushing, so all the fresh flavour and the lighter notes and neuances became fogged together and marred. My fault entirely, I spoilt what should have been (is) a great after-breakfast cigar.

Overall: A lesson learned. Don't go at quality Cubans like it's a race. Better not to smoke it at all!

Take your time with your smokes mate.

They have to be savoured in order to enjoy the flavours.

Sometime its difficult to take your time with a smoke (us poor old outside smokers) especially when its freezing.

Lots of layers is the key. Shirts, jumpers, waterproof trousers, scarf, hat and gloves made a Cohiba panatela most enjoyable in that really cold snap in December.

I had an erdm demitasse on new years day and it was a fine cigar, amazing for the size and price! I'm glad to have two more in my tupperdor.

That is REALLY good Si!. And I've noticed in all your pics you appear to be smoking INSIDE a Cafe or such .... is Belgium resisting the non-smoking Mafia?

I'd spotted that too. I'm wondering where else in Europe is resisting the ban... perhaps that's an idea worthy of another thread?

I actually meant two more cigars. 35 euros a box seems a great price. I may have to organise a day trip to Belgium.
