However, one quite knowledgeable gent I know sez they should come into their own after only one year. As far as I am aware, regardless of what one does with the leaves/bundles there is a stage of fermentation that only takes place once the cigar is rolled. Therefore no cigar has gone through this stage when it is sold unless it was aged by the manufacturer once rolled (as per quite a lot of high-end NC's). Therefore while tobacco may be aged the stick is not. It is fair to say that BHK's have had no significant ageing time at HSA.Originally posted by Pantomimehorse View Post
