Luis Martinez Tres Petit Corona review
. hi all bit of a time since my last review I wasn?t intending to review this cigar so no photos sadly but I felt it was worthy of a review
Appearance & Construction 15 / 15
my example was a very dark wrapper similar to what you would expect on a Bolivar no flaws in its construction green spots marks anything it simply couldn?t be faulted in its appearance hence I am giving it full marks in this category.
Draw & Burn 23 / 25
very slight crooked burn at the start but more my fault as I light it very slightly unevenly very good and a very white burn just what I would expect from a non Cuban and as it was my fault and the burn corrected it self I am going to give it twenty three here
Flavour & Body 23/25
smelt before lighting of what I can only describe as tutee fruits what can I say very complex for a small stick I would say comparable with a Cuban as this smoke was not one dimensional started of slightly vegetal and creamy the progressed in to some pepper and spice the then the cream return with just a hint of what I can only describe as stone fruit then the spice return but slightly sweeter than before and the last few puffs returned to the creamy aspect I would say for being so complex for a small stick that it easily deserves twenty three out of twenty five
Overall Impression 34 / 35
what can I say comparable to more expensive Cubans and ver reasonable at just under four pounds from the sponsor as mine was a single have no idea on age thought I would defiantly buy a box in the future and I would say from my example it may even age well. Due to this next week I am going to seriously review a diplomticos number 5 and compare it to this therefore I am going to give this stick 34 I always try to keep an open mind when it comes to both Cubans and non Cuban?s but his was defintlythe best non Cuban I have had to date and everything you could want in a cigar of its size
TOTAL 95 / 100
