made up of 5 diferent maduro leaves and is the only triple maduro in the world. honduran filler , binder and wrapper ....size...50/4.5
when i heard of this cigar i wanted to try one but as they do not seem to be on sale in the uk chances were looking a bit slim. after a post to see if there was any infomation on these sticks, Jdawg replied and very kindly sent me 3 of them to try.
thank you again jerry.
the cigar is very very dark but does not have that oily sheen normally seen on maduro's. the smell and taste of cocoa is present before lighting and the cigar seemed to have a good overall construction and two rather fancy black and silver bands.
smoking this cigar i was hoping to have cocoa ,expresso and choclate by the bucket full but the first third was rather woody with a hint of leather very little sweetness was present. the second third was pretty much the same but now the maduro flavours were there but still faint to what i was expecting. the final third came with a rush of white pepper which just got stronger the more i smoked it and the cigar heated up considerably.
i enjoyed this cigar and i'm looking forward to smoking its bigger brother 60/6 to see if it is the same. i must admit it was not what i was expecting at all but i cannot take it away from camacho this is a full bodied pleasent smoke and i would like to hear if anybody has had a different take on this cigar and thinks i'm talking shite!
thanks for reading my first review
