Great review, i liked the standard RyJ churchill, but this makes me want to try the wide churchill, excellent, love the info..

Well i couldn't resist any longer and tried the Wide Churchill. To add to the excellent reviews already it is a very nice cigar. It is deceptively strong and the nicotine hit is powerful but not overwhelming. I'm a lot calmer and on the verge of being light headed, not shaky but a little tremblely. I finsihed off a Gin and Tonic and started on a glass of ice cold milk half way through. I'm not sure if it was the creamy milk during the second third but i got very rich carmel notes that i loved at this stage. I would place it nearer the Duke than a Short Churchill but it has the distinctive RyJ flavours that it builds on quite nicely. The strongest RyJ i have tried to date.

It was a dryer cigar than i usually like but it had only been in my humidor for a few days before temptation got the better of me.

The one I was given to try had been heavily humidified having arrived somewhat dry. When I got my hands on it I found it moist, spongy and truly wonderous!!!

Don't underestimate cow juice. I find the creamyness can bring out the nutty, chocolate and caramel flavours and if a cigar is burning a little hot or is a bit too spicy it can help cool the mouth.

I had one of these yesterday and considering the date on the box was only March 2010 it was fookin' lovely. I can see these becoming quite a favourite of mine in years to come. Boy these babies are PHAT too

always wise to try a single first before getting a box, otherwise you can be stuck with a box of cigars that are not to your taste
