This cigar is truly the first NC that is actually tasting as good as an average CC I have smoked so far!
Appearance-wise it is a nice sized stick, with a slightly oily coating of chocolate brown leaf. A good dry draw.
The first third had a spicy black peppery taste, coupled with a roasted coffee aroma, and a lot of grey smoke (which was understandable given the easy draw). A little bit of bitterness, which was soon overpowered by the roasted coffee toasted aroma!
Towards the middle portion of the smoke the peppery toast taste soon gave way to a creamy caramel, again with some black peppers, while maintaining an excellent draw and even burn. Hints of a fruity tang, again overpowered by this caramel toasted flavoursome sensation.
The final third remained fruity with caramel cream mixed in with a black coffee peppery toast burst. A bit of leather in the final few inches but, again was quickly erased by the rest of the dominant flavours, combined with further hints of sweetness.
This stick was out of the humidor for at least 6 days so it was a little dry, but springy. The dark grey ash was nicely layered lasting just under an inch, with it becoming astoundingly smooth towards the final few inches - almost as marble smooth as the Monte 2 I might add!
What a nice NC indeed!
