Hey el Pero! I've noticed some of the lads keep a "cone" under their hats.

I find with a normal cigar smoked at normal pace, the first 3rd very regularly cones, and then the cigar balances out to a flat burn for the last 2 thirds. If I'm smoking a cigar very slowly (which is often a sign of great enjoyment) then the cigar can burn very flat from the first third.

My experience too.

Though I have noticed that environment plays a part in the process, particularly outdoors, when a change in humidity or the breeze often throws a 'spanner in the works'.

However, I digress.

Great job yiorgos, and on a subject close to my heart ('outed' Cohiba lover), I currently have an example of both of these sticks awaiting my pleasure in the humidor (at some suitably auspicious occasion), and have been wondering how they might compare.

With luck, I'll get a chance to 'road test' them myself shortly and I'll be interested to see how my experience measures up to your own.

very nice review.....always wondered how it would compare to the VI.

great info too about the cone and burning. now that i think about it i have to agree 100% with ya. never really thought much about the conditions present when i had a bad burn id just get pissed and reach for my torch!
