I always like these, a smooth taste, good burn, not strong and last longer than you'd think. Always find it very hard to describe the flavour of any cigar - these are not bitter but smooth, not chocolate or fruity, perhaps....no it's no good can't think of the words, they taste good and smooth - a little No 2.
Whilst they're not my cup of tea... they are very light for my tastes... I wouldn't want someone who likes a lighter smoke to turn away from them...they are good cigars.
After reading your post, I decided to spark up a Hoyo Petite robusto now. I had a few boxes of these and find them an enjoyable, affordable puro, but sometimes inconsistent....or maybe it's me.
I'll post again after I finish.

Okay, I revisited the Hoyo de Monterrey Petit Robusto last night and enjoyed the little guy very much. While it may not be on par with some of the better CCs available today, it certainly is better than most of the NC cigars that I have smoked, IMHO.
And when you consider the price, I think the PR is good, affordable CC that is always welcome in my humodor.
