Well, I headed down to the Barbican in Plymouth, on Thursday - a bright sunny day, a few wispy clouds floating past. I decided to crack open the Davidoff Special 'R' tubo which has been sitting in my humi since the mega-herf last year.
It's got a great presentation tubo, and I love the small slit exposing the cedar for dampening to aid humidification. There's a corresponding slit on the outer tubo too, so that the cedar can be exposed if the humidity needs to be let out.
Anyway, a couple of photos...

Great presentation.

Great view (just out of shot on the left is a Contessa 26 - a yacht I'm trying to warrant buying
).
As for the cigar, a little disappointing for the price. Very smooth, as you'd expect from a Davidoff (and has always been my experience). Generally well behaved, save for a couple of issues at the get-go. Subdued flavours, largely vegetal (with a bit of woodiness) and then plenty of weak cappuccino. (My score: 84/100)
