According to a local retailer, these will be out for general release later this year. I can find no information on the internet about these and feel quite excited about being the first to write a review.
The Cigar measures 138 X 50, shorter than others of this vitola and slightly thinner. The wrapper is a light brown / tan colour, slightly oily, with veins only just protruding. It gives off a sweet spicy aroma. Only slight give on the finger compression test. I cut just under a centimeter off the tip and tested the draw - firm but not tight and pre light flavours consistant with others of this brand. I used a torch lighter to bring it life and it lit evenly. 1st draw gave up honey on wholemeal toast with a draw that was neither too tight nor too loose, perfect infact. The 1st 3rd remained like this and also gave me an underlying flavour I couldn't quite put my finger on. This continued into the second 3rd and I decided it was a very faint rosemary taste. Plenty of white creamy smoke with a hint of blue neon inside. Faultless burn and strong ash. Flavours developed into cracked black peppercorns with a hint of earthy leather and the spice getting stronger. A very complex cigar, I thought, just as I wore the ash at the half way point. I decided to purge it at this stage and was rewarded with what I can only describe as Melon on toast  I slowed the pace down as the tobacco flavours were getting on top of the others. The remainder was changing between the earthy leather spicieness and the toast with a perfect balance of tobacco there too. A thoroughly enjoyable cigar, much like a Choix Supreme but with a little extra packed in for good measure. I look forward to trying another.
ACMCC has just brought some of these lovelies back from Italy
