I decided to review this smoke as i know some of you want to pick these up as they are an endangered species. This stick comes from an ENE 09 box so these are young.
Appearance: A dark oily wrapper with a few visible veins. This looks like a strong smoke.
Cold Draw:Notes of honey, citrus and peat come through on this smoke.
First third:Again the honey is the dominant taste on this smoke.its medium bodied at the moment.
Second third:Honey starts to give way to some spice and mossy notes. This cigar is getting stronger!
Final third:The honey is back and has taken over with some spice notes. It becomes overwhelmingly strong. Not for beginners!
Overview:I am glad to have a box of these as they will only get better with time.Time is something they surely need to allow the final third to calm. This cigar burned and drew perfect for me.I would give these about 2 years to calm and let the flavors mature. These smokes are Great with Grand Mariner especially the 150 and Louis Alexandre.Well i hope you all enjoyed my review.Sorry for no pics.Maybe next time
