OOOO, now that is an idea, where can I get a Partagas P1 for him to be shocked by? LOL.

"In Italy for 30 years under the Borgias they had warfare, terror, murder and bloodshed, but they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, and the Renaissance. In Switzerland they had brotherly love, they had 500 years of democracy and peace, and what did that produce? The cuckoo clock!"
Review the secretos George, I've love to read you comments on the mini sticks
Ago, the dubster, was moved to gift my undeserving selves a lurvley, lurvely tenner of the Cohiba Secretos. Cutest damn little see-gar...
Stuffed 'em into the ol' Cubador (that's what I call my CC humi) to mellow. Well, those adorable, little Secretos just kept calling to me. Sitting in that lovely box, all in a row, all uniform and perfect, with all the kewl Habanos certificates and stamps and seals and whatnot, and, well... I just couldn't stop thinking about them.
Now, the Siglo VI is one of the finest see-gars I have ever smoked. Period. And I just kept thinking that the cute, little Secretos looked just like the VI-es. Only smaller.
And then I had this epiphany. A revelation from the ghodz.
I live in Florida, right? Right. And stuff here in the Sunshine State grows like crazy. I had this potted plant up north that I nurtured for 7 years and it was two feet tall. I moved to Florida, stuck it in the ground and after a year it was taller than my freaking house! Everything here grows like weeds. Even the weeds grow like... well... weeds!
So, where was I?
Oh, yeah.
So, I'm thinking: What are see-gars, but tobacco leaves all rolled up, right? Tobacco is a plant. You can start a plant from a leaf. So I'm looking at these delightful, little Secretos and imagining them growing up to be big, bold Siglo VI's some day! And before I knew it, I had grabbed a bag of potting soil, went out to the sunniest place in the back yard and damned if I didn't plant those suckers right next to the petunias!
I will water them faithfully, remove encroaching weeds, guard against pest infestations, feed them fish emulsion fertilizer (stinks like hell, but the dog likes to roll around in it) and watch them grow into grand, mature VI's. I even put some aluminimiuminumimunum shavings around them in case any of them decide to become Tubos!
...
All joking aside, it is in fact true that these lurvely little lovelies did call to me. And I was weak. So, after only slightly more than 24 hours in my Cubador, I selected one to consign to the flames. I rationalized that they were nicely sealed and that even though they originated from the frozen wastelands (Inglelande is near Iceland, right?), they had probably equalized temperature-wise by being in the United Statesian postal system for a couple of furlongs, then the overnight in my humi.
Lee had told me they would be a delightful smoke with my morning coffee and I had about half an hour to kill that evening and it was a beautiful night. I have a perfect "smoking nest" out on my porch, punched my Secreto, lit my candle and my mood light, and fired up Little Cohiba.
Ahhhhhhh... Perfect draw and right from the first puff, I knew I had a winner. Absolutely delicious. A rich, mellow and very Cubanesque flavo(u)r and aroma, very reminiscent of big brother Siglo VI, but in a handy, small package. I thoroughly enjoyed every single puff on a dead even and slow burn, first to last, finishing it off using a toothpick and even burned through that! A completely satisfying experience.
But the dubmeister lied to me! "Nice smoke with your morning coffee," indeed! That little sucker burned for about an HOUR! Lovely, lovely, lovely. Even though my wife was mad at me for staying out there for so long (she was waiting for me to come in to watch something on the telly with her). Tough luck, woman! I had important "man business" to take care of.
Anyhow, I have now completely changed my opinion of faggoty, little sticks. They can, indeed, be very flavo(u)rful and satisfying. In fact, I even went web surfing to look at stocking my Cubador with a box of Secretos at all times. That's when I found out what a fooking IDIOT the dubdub was! These little babies are EXPENSIVE! For that price, you can get yourself a REAL see-gar.
Oh, WTF, life's too short. If you don't spoil yourself, who will?
had a secretos myself one time and imo it was the best cohiba i have ever had! lasted me at least 45 minutes too. id say that id maybe buy a box, at least a 10 box.
in reference to the planting of cigars.....bout 9-10 years ago an old girlfriend i had was with me when i was about to light up a cigar that had a pig tail on the end. she asked why it looked like that on the end, i told her that this cigar came from a cigar tree. and that they were just plucked from a tree! and my goodness she believed me! she was quite angry though when an hour later i told her the truth lol.

LMAO what kind of ladies you messing with KC?
Also had my first padron 45th last night after many weeks of harassment from KC (you think the guy works for em) and I must say it does indeed qualify for Kdots official stamp of deliciousness
Glad you are enjoying your baby sticks from Great ingerland. I was buying myself a box and though, I know a gent who might enjoy a box with me, so I stole the mortgage money for the month and purchased them
The 45 is a great cigar. I was lucky enough last night and gifted and 44th Torpedo. From what I was told out these are the family personal smoke and man was it good. It had such a rich taste it was increadable and so smooth
