  • Kristoff - Ligero Maduro (New)

    MaduroTorp.6.12552

The new Kristoff Ligero Maduro is three-quarters full in body but very full in flavor. With rich notes of dried cherry, coffee bean, cocoa bean, spice and a sweet finish, the Kristoff Ligero Maduro will have the most discriminating cigar smoker coming back for more.
    Wrapper:Brazilian Maduro
    Binder:Cuban Seed Dominican
Filler:Cuban Seed Dominican and Cuban Seed Nicaraguan

At first glance this gar has a very dark flawless vein free wrapper.
The oils which coat the Brizilian wrapper are shiney and rich lookin.
Upon cutting with a double blade and letting it hang from my jaw there seems to be a differant taste,1 that I've never tasted before. After rolling it around in my mouth for awhile it time to fire it up.
The torch and were off to the races. The lighting experiance is very differant, almost like dark chocolet and cream mixture. The first 1/3 is loade with a slightly bitter sweet chocolet Taste that lures Me into wanting more that is to follow. The next 1/3 the profile changes to a more medium-full cigar with a ttouch of spice and sweetness I couldn't quit put my finger on But again it keeps luring me back for the finallie. The last 1/3 the profile pick up to a more full body but smooth stogie with sweetness
on every draw. At the finish I've smoked this cigar to an inch of its life wishing it had about 3 more " to it. Sorry that it had to end.
Would I buy this cigar again? In a heart beatThis has got to be 1 of the most intresting NC cigars I've enjoyed in a really long time. At $8.50 a stick not my everyday cigar but I will put it into my once every 2 week rotation.
Appearance 9 well made with a shaggy foot
construction 8.5 heavey in the hand
Burn 9 Straight as an arrow with no touch up reuired
Taste ? very differant but awsomely great
Price point A little salty but worth the coin
My overall opinion is this was 1 hell of a cigar and can't wait to indulge in another!

    Great review G-Man,

just by reading it it makes me want one

on the other hand, being far from being a
    most discriminating cigar smoker
, these might be wasted on me

When 1 experiences a cigar there is never wasted cigars .There are more educated smokers. And the more educated cigar smokers there are the more demand we put on the cigar industry to produce quality cigars. We are the only ones that can force the manufactures to step it up a notch evry year. A shit cigar will not be tolerated!

Well said g-man!!!! Great review by the way. This sounds like a great cigar and one I need to try. I have gotten bored with many NC cigars, so I will check this one out.
