Davidoff Winston Churchill Belicoso

So got these a while back and decided to post my review of this evenings smoke in the glorious sunshine, my drink of choice tonight Remy Martin VSOP with a little ice.dav1.jpg so on inspection its a lovely looking cigar as one would expect from Davidoff the pre-light smell and draw faintly mild tobacco with a hint of something, tonight I went with a V cut with this one were I would normal use a straight for a Belicoso, any lets get into it. It lit beautifully with lovely grey ash on the initial start this cigar present with a very mild creamy like smoke, as it develops a little that hint of something on the pre-light reveals itself to be a very leathery-nutty flavour which is sort of interesting but also underwhelming as it cant seem to decide if it wants to be one or the other. This remains throughout the smoke not really developing any further hints, until the final third when a very mild bit of spice adds itself to the finish.

All in all a pleasant smoke great construction but very mild, milder than I had anticipated actually which isn't necessarily bad, just unexpected for me, and good news for the guys at Cgarsltd at some point I will try the Davidoff Churchill Robusto Late Hour as it sounds like a more complex and stronger cigar. But that wont be yet as the next purchases will be the Oliva Series G Cameroon and the Inka Secret Blend.

As for these Cigars as Introduction into the Winston Churchill Cigar range they are very good, and for beginner offer a few interesting hints of flavour and wet the appetite for more stronger and complex cigars that Davidoff do offer. A lovely way to cap off my week at any rate. More Photos Below
