From memory, I believe the 'Nacionales' (Robusto size) was always a perfectly serviceable smoke...

Thanks for the 'heads up' Mr B. I can't afford be too precious these days about what I smoke, and given the price the Brevas sound as if they might my Winter smoking niche perfectly .... and still be Cuban.

Hombres, a while back I received 5X5s of the Brevas and the Cremas gratis as part of larger order. Both worked well for the reasons described in this thread (decent on-the-go stick, price), and were perfect for sharing with non-aficionados amigos!
