This is a Lonsdale size cigar - much under-represented IMHO in the flurry of big gauge ELs and ERs. I like the full range of cigars from demi-tasse/chicos all the way up to Diademas, but seem to smoke more thinner gauges in the summer. I'd had one whilst holidaying in Morocco shortly after their release, but this was my first when I'd be paying it much attention
The wrapper was reddish brown, had one smallish vein, but overall construction looked wonderful. No problems lighting it (back to using a blazer-style torch 'cos my Colibri is playing up), and I let the first 5mm or so burn by itself. Initial flavours were exactly like a 2006 Fundadores that I had recently - that "TCP" twang that you often get with Fundys. This gave way to cleaner tobacco flavours in the middle, mixed with some grassiness. Final third was a little tricky to keep lit, so I binned it before the Trini band.
Overall : I'd give this 86 now, but can only see these getting better and better. Be surprised if tobacco of this quality is not peaking for many years yet. Won't try one for another months or so. Probably
