Got this as part of a sampler. Has a great oily wrapper. Nice fruitcake aroma pre light.
Has a fair bit of strength as expected. Lots of flavours fighting for attention. I get fruity raisiny taste. Lots of earth and pepper too but not over powering it.
Hope it carris on along these lines. Good start.
Hint of cherries which i always love in a cigar. Bit of cinnamin too i think and just now mellowing out a bit that i get a coconut cream taste as well. This is going very well. Shame the sun wont come out!
I was trying to think what other stick this is like. It reminds me of a partagas 898. Just without that cuban twang.
Getting more leathery now. Really heavy mouth feel.
Half way in and all of a sudden it has lost all flavour. Like drawing through an empty straw.
Good news. The flavour has returned! I think the relight i had to do may have caused the issue. Back to where we were before.
Finishing off now. It changed to a more woody cedar towards the end with a bit of sweetness as well.
Really good stick with plenty of complexity. Im giving it a 91.
