So After a few months in Humidor and the fact its quite a nice late afternoon, I decided to try one of the Reyes for the first time, I've heard great things about this cigar and so went into this with expectations, I also decided to have a classic ale this afternoon to go with it opting for the Old Peculier

So lets start with the pre light draw, ooh what lovely almost white chocolate hit I got from that, a faint hint of what I can best describe as like a caramac bar the first time I have had such a hint of anything like that on a pre light. So far so good, the cigar cut nicely and the draw was spot on getting a very even burn.
So onto the first puff, nice amounts of smoke that filled the mouth very easily and then the exhale and bam some slight nuttiness but with a very woody feel interesting followed by a wonderful hit of that white chocolate/caramac creamy flavour and of course the usual tobacco taste, as I progressed through the Reyes the creamy hit became more noticeable undercut with that woody nutty flavour.
The Creamy hit and woody nut flavour remained throughout with a spicy kick towards the end and a stronger tobacco hit as you would expect getting towards the end. Smoking time of about 45-50 minutes and boy was this a delight a real treat without a doubt. I think though that with even more time that creamy caramc flavour will become more pronounced and when I come back to this in about 6 months time I expect this to be even more of a treat.
As it was with about 2 months in the humi this was a delight with even more time I dare say this may be one of the best smaller cuban smokes but boy does it last like a big boy not a short smoke, this has to be savoured and enjoyed, really pleased with this and looking forward to how pronounced the flavours will be after a bit more time.
This cigar is a must for any collection very very nice.
