A couple people suggested I go for this next so here goes.
6x52 Nicaraguan in a Connecticut wrapper, described as full strength.
This is a particularly good looking stick. A pig tail and closed cap offer a pleasing rustic overall look.
The band is pretty restrained by NC standards too so bonus points for that
Firm with a slight spongy feel, the wrapper and foot smell distictly different. The foot smells strong and meaty almost like Schmalzler snuff where as the wrapper is earthy.... Strange considering the closed cap.
Slightly loose draw, pre light of earth.
1/3 - Jeez thats a lot of smoke!
Earthy right off the bat with some slight pepper and I do mean slight. Room note is.... Um....pungent. Im also getting a chalky mineral after taste.
2/3 - Still pumping out smoke like a chimney. Turned a bit meaty now like how the foot smelled.
3/3 - More of the same but im just over 2hrs in and im smoking alone. This stick is too big for this occasion so im putting it down and going to bed.
Over all a very nice stick. Not a straight up full bodied smoke but im feeling the nicotine. Would I smoke it again? yes.
Would I buy a box? probably.
It offers a very different profile to any CC I have had so it would offer variety to a stash.
