G.A.R.

At 1st glance this cigar looks like a generic house brand. The lable is a simple white band with bold G.A.R. letters on the foot.
Cut with a double blade
lite with a tripple flame torch
The prelight draw was easy and full of caramel and cidar sweetness.
When I first toasted the foot to a glowing cherry red the smell of leather is abundent. After about 1 1/2 inches into this beast of a cigar
I relize this is going to be a powerhouse of a cigar. This after having 2, 1" pork chops patato salade and peas with bread for dinner.( so it wasn't like I was smoking this gar on an empty stomach) 1 would think this would have been a heavey enough meal to combat any strenth cigar?
The bold and I mean bold taste of white pepper and toffey caramel remain promanent for the first 2 1/2" . Then when U think U got this sucker figured out the flavor flip to a more mello leather and cinimmon taste ,stage 2 of this bad boy. The next 3" from here are loaded with caramel, toffey and exhale through nose give very floral notes and the pepper flavor has returned. This cigar was that good I nubed it with a tooth pick!
For its price tag I was totally blown away. $ 6.00 for 3 differant stages and complexity and profile are second to no manufacturer cigar.
Don Pepin BEWARE
Taste -was a 8 out of 10
Apperance- wrapper was about as smooth as U can find 10
construction-was flawless. with perfect draw and heavey in the hand 9
In mt honest opinion if U haven't tried this cigar then U should.
If U have then U probably want another soon.
