I just smoked one and as a new member felt compelled to write my first review on this forum.
I've had a box of these from new stashed away and have been dipping in periodically - as expected they just keep getting better and better!
As they are presently, medium to dark in appearance with knarly veins and mysterious dark spots. A sweet woody aroma and mighty inviting. I scored the cap off with my Swiss army scissors and pushed my tongue into the tip - sweet woody cinnamon to the taste. It lit well and I was rewarded with tons of creamy smoke with a slight blue tinge to it. As I progressed the ash was pure white (it reminded of the old school dog poo one used to find as a child!) A slight correction was needed at the 1/3 rd point (because I was laughing so much at the poo reference!), and I got a hint of citrus, a real lemon twang. Not unlike an aged R&J Churchill. This didn't last long and the remainder went through tastes such as marzipan, cinnamon and cedar with even a hint of mild liquorice. All in all, a wonderfully balanced cigar. Slightly loose to draw, but I like them like this, I keep my main humi at 68 - 70% and will defo have another soon.
