The Fonseca Delicias is a handmade Cuban petit corona filled with short leaf filler. It measures 4.8" x40 and mine had a toothy Connecticut wrapper which is dressed in a white paper sleeve with the band attached around the sleeve not the cigar. Mine was quite springy and smelled faintly of that typical Cuban tobacco smell. The first one out of the box had a very tight draw and turned out to be plugged. I had to cut an inch off the end to smoke it. Fortunately the second was perfect. The cold draw had a faint salted caramel taste and it lit easily.
This cigar gave flavours of caramel and roasted nuts with no trace of pepper at all. The last inch got a little harsh but a quick purge cured that.
The ash was a dirty grey and dropped every inch and one correction was required with one relight.
Overall a good economical cigar from Cuba.
