Origin According to the website its a Brazilian Oscuro wrapper with a Dominican binder and a mixed Dominican and Nicaraguan filler. So its a real blend here.
Length 6.5"
Gauge 52
Build Superb, dark and smooth binder. Snipped some of the cap off and there were a couple of loose strands, mostly due to my crappy cheap cutter, but easily remedied. Burn was straight and even and even though the sodding lighter ran out as I lit it one match was enough to deal with the rest.
Taste Sweet, chocolatey pre-draw promised good things. First third was exactly as I expected with coffee and chocolate the main flavours. Second third there was a pleasant hint of spice creeping in too. By the last third the spice was gone and a hint of leather replaced it. Really enjoyed this one.
Another really nice stick from Rascal's bomb. One thing that is worth commenting on is that the smoke from this was the thickest and most voluminous I've had in a long time. Seriously, I was sat in a beautiful cloud, wish my phone camera was good enough to capture it.
Will post photos when I find my phone.
