My review albeit an amateur one...
So after my little trip into the tobaconist across from the office I was initally draw to this because quite honestly its not often you see a cigar with a bright red ribbon on it amongst the shiny bands that adorn them.
It is about 14cm long and 2cm in diameter. Initially I liked the dark wrapper it looked a lot darker in the humi and the red set this off. The wrapper didnt really look that great to be honest certainly not for a cigar that is nearly the same price for me as a Monte 2. However after some of the other smokes I have been trying lately as I find my way in this hazy world it didnt put me off.
Initially the draw post punch was very smooth and I knew it would be a good smoke from that perspective, sure enough it lit well and the draw was smooth and consistent.
First couple of decent puffs once I was up an running the first thing I noticed was how mild the smoke was it had lots of chocolate and vanilla tones in it. It was smooth as silk followed by a large hit from the nicotine. Its one of the stronger smokes I have had in terms of the nicotine late.
The first third was lovely and mild with the second more of the same though getting slightly stronger as I progessed. The third was the strongest and I felt lots of coffee tones amongst the chocolate now. I was still tingling a fair bit from the nicotine. All in all took me about 45-50 minutes to smoke in the sun.
The actual smoke was really nice and smooth though the burn was uneven and I had to relight it a few times.
I would definitely smoke it again but for the money I think if I am honest I would get something else.
I couldnt find the actual website for the company which is odd but here is some blurb if you are unfamilar with the brand.
