I'll start with a copy and paste of the makers notes
"Swag Lavish cigars are a new kind of Dominican cigar. Swag is Dominican Puro with the aroma and flavor that Dominican tobacco is known for. The character and complexity of Swag cigars is sure to please the most discriminating smoker.
Rafael Nodal and the rest of the Habana Cuba Oliveros team are coming up on the cigar headlines with the highly rated SWAG. The Swag cigars sport a dark and oily triple-cap Dominican Habano-Ligero wrapper that provides hints of pepper and coffee to this excellent brand. The pure Dominican binder and filler add a touch of sweetness with notes of caramel. The recent ?90? rating by the C.A. magazine is a good signal where the SWAG is going and we will not be surprised when the Swag is rated even higher."
Now from me
The cigar is a 5 x 54 with a Dominican filler and binder.
It was well put together and came with very distinctive banding, the wrapper looked and felt nice.
I snipped the end and the pre light draw was easy with light leathery notes and a touch of light mocha.
It lit easily and there was plenty of thick smoke, it was fairly light and creamy for the first third, the taste flavours become more complex and deeper and the aroma of the smoke was awesome.
The burn was OK and I got about 2" of Ash, before it started to burn slightly unevenly, however this was easily corrected. It is definitely not a stick to be rushed and it lasted me about 1 hour 45 mins.
On the last third it became a bit more peppery but not too much and I was really enjoying it, until I got smashed in the face with a massive nicotine hit! It felt like a head rush and chocolate and sugary drinks were not really helping.
I ended up leaving the last 2" as it was just a bit too much for me, first two thirds were excellent tho. May be one for the more hardcore NC man , but for the price I can't moan.
