Bought myself this along with a BHK 54 and smoke them a day apart. I actually asked for a Epicure No. 2 but got this and boy am I glad I did haha.
Only got the one photo as I never intended on doing a review.
Was a cool but settled day and I had this whilst listening to the football (Liverpool vs Arsenal in the FA cup for those interested) and my trusty pint of vimto at hand.
Lit it up and straight away I was hit with sweet gentle notes and lots of rich smoke. There was summer fruits with a honey mix with a very mild leather on the after taste.
This lasted up to the mid way point at which time it deepened and exposed the leather a bit more but kept some of it's sweet notes.
The final third really deepened and became full of dark flavours, dark woody and leathery notes and the sweetness was all but gone, very little pepper and never harsh almost tasted like a completely different cigar.
It was an absolutely joy to behold and in all honesty it blew the BHK 54 out of the water. Lasted me about an hour at a steady pace with a beautiful burn and never showed signs of going out.
Has gone down as one of my favourite smokes of all time. Probably only the BHK 52 I had last year that beats it.
If you can get your hands on one of these it's a must have!
